sleepy village night light process
The facade of Sleepy Village is made from laser cut and sanded cherry, walnut, and beech wood and assembled with wood glue. The windows and doors are backed with frosted acrylic which I sanded on the shiny side for extra light diffusion then attached with super glue. I finished the wood with linseed oil before placing battery-operated string lights on the interior. The moon is mounted to the wall and contains parts of a tea candle light which is twisted to turn on.
